Prof. Andy Woods（Andrew William Woods）是劍橋大學現任BP教授（榮譽教授頭銜）、英國皇家學會院士、劍橋大學聖約翰學院院士及能源與環境流動研究所所長，長期深耕複雜流體流動的跨學科研究，是流體動力學領域的權威學者。他本科畢業於劍橋大學聖約翰學院數學專業，後於劍橋大學應用數學與理論物理系獲地球物理流體動力學博士學位。其研究特色在於為複雜流體流動過程構建簡化數學模型與實驗體系，研究範疇覆蓋自然與能源領域多個關鍵方向，包括火山噴發動力學、地熱發電、碳封存、多孔介質油氣開採等。在建築通風領域，他提出低能耗自然通風優化策略，有效降低熱損失並為空氣傳播感染防控提供理論支撐。此外，他還涉足交通流動力學建模，為調控車輛群體行為、優化交通流提供了新思路。安迪·伍茲教授於2017年當選英國皇家學會院士，他累計發表學術論文230餘篇，曾獲Italgas獎、Marcello Cara Pezza獎、國際火山學與地球內部化學協會Wager獎章等多項國際學術榮譽，其成果廣泛應用於火山災害預警、能源開發等場景，推動了科研與產業的深度融合。
